At our school we really, really appreciate our teachers and at the beginning of the year we make up a basket of treats for ALL the teachers - this year Jill asked me to make a tag to go on the basket - I had no idea what to do and so I used Jill's words and just created this simple tag.
I love how being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator gives me the opportunity to give back in my own special way.

A Special Card For Emily
Our next door neighbor moved to Ireland last year and she recently came home for her baby shower - I had so much fun creating this cute card just for Emily and her new bundle of joy who will arrive in November....
Images © 1990-2010 Stampin' Up!
Notice the little clover leaf inside - I also used that image to decorate Emily's wedding gift wrap and it was so nice to personalize this creation for her in the same way.
Did you notice what I used to create the window for the baby deer? No? Take a look at the new Holiday Mini and you'll see a fabulous new product line....

Tadaaaaa!!!!! My Digital Studio
I can't wait to see my 10 year old daughter's jaw drop when she see's she can make personalized Stampin' Up! cards for her friends.
Of course Stampin' Up! will have their own fabulous printing facility which will preserve the color integrity and size etc. of everything printed from My Digital studio so that it will coordinate and be the best quality etc. etc. etc.
However in the case of making a quick personalized card that I can run off on my computer, I think this is pretty impressive and remember, if I can do it, anyone can do it because I'm no tech.

My Digital Studio - Very First Project
Let's take the journey together - This is way, way, way cool. You all know that yesterday I published my pdf. class using the Sunny Day simply scrappin' kit right? Well today I received a really cool new product from Stampin' Up! - it's called My Digital Studio and you too can order it in October.
All I did was load the software onto my computer and I selected all the standard items and look, here's a fun card using the Sunny Day Simply Scrappin' Digital template - there were several to choose from.

Then I decided to play, just a little - you know baby steps and so I thought about who was having a birthday next and changed a few things to personalize the card for my niece, it was soooo easy, even for technically impaired me and I even worked out how to export it so that I could show it to you here.

And you thought it was all going to be about scrapbooking didn't you? Well, you can make DVD's, Cards and Scrapbooks and those are just the things I can remember.
If you would like to own your copy of My Digital Studio - send me an email reeveelizabeth@hotmail.com and I'll give you all the details - Just imagine having over 2,000 Stampin' Up! images right at your finger tips on your computer - gone are the days of lugging piles of stuff to crops - yey!!!!

Important - When Shopping On Line With Me!!
Just a quick note to let you know in more details some of the things you need to know about shopping on line with me:
1. Shope On Line 24/7
2. VERY IMPORTANT - Go in through my Demonstrator Web Site elizabethreeve@stampinup.net Click HERE and bookmark it.
3. Why is it important to go in through my DBWS? Because if you go in through Stampinup.com, then you will be charged a higher shipping rate, even if you choose me as your demonstrator - I'm sorry, it's just the way their system works.
4. Always select me as your demonstrator because then you will not be charged a higher rate for shipping and merchandise.
These are important things to remember with this fabulous and flexible service - I guess the two major things to remember are 1. Go in through www.elizabethreeve.stampinup.net click HERE to bookmark it and 2. Always select me as your demonstrator.
I hope this information is helpful to you.
Have a fabulous day!

Since I started my blog way back in January, I've received thousands of hits and I've had a new post and sometimes several most days.
My question to you is do you enjoy my blog and should I continue?
This is a hugely time consuming project, but it fits right in with my love of sharing what I love and so I don't mind one bit the time it takes to create and post new projects/news.
Please send me an email and let me know how my blog is working out for you: reeveelizabeth@hotmail.com
I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

I Have A Heavy Heart Today.....
While Mom's around me celebrate today at regaining their freedom, I'm one of those Mom's who has a heavy heart and a tear in her eye. I absolutely love summer, it's just the best. Each year my children grow and change and summer is "our" time and now for another year it's time to say goodbye.......

There's a saying "If you love something, let it fly, if it comes back it is yours, if it does not, then it never was" - I know in my heart that these next few years will go by in a flash and school days will be done and I'll look back on today and know that saying goodbye to the children and sending them off to another year of Elementary school was one of the "easier" goodbye's, even though it doesn't feel like that today.
Have a lovely day everyone!

Dazzling Diamonds and Embossing Class - Maybe
As October approaches and we head for Breast Cancer awareness month, I thought it would be fun to create a class and learn two new techniques while creating some very simple and yet meaningful note card sets.....
If you think it would be fun to learn how to use Heat and Stick Powder and combine it with Dazzling Diamonds and craft ink to create this dazzling note card or simply make a some stylish embossed cards, send me an email reeveelizabeth@hotmail.com and if enough people are interested I'll add it to my Fall class schedule.

Inspiration For Melanie
When Melanie called me and said she needed to make Baby Shower Invitations for a friend and could I help with ideas - I had absolutely no idea where to start. All I knew was that I needed to keep it simple because I know how Melanie loves brads and I knew somehow I needed to leave her some "brad mania" space, she also wanted bright colors....
.... Well, here are a few of the samples I gave to Melanie - I knew she'd be making a lot of cards and so I wanted to keep it simple and because she was making so many cards I liked the idea of using curvy verses, because you don't have to get the stamp perfectly strait every time. Once I hit on the idea of polka dots, I wanted to repeat it and so it is in the ribbon and embossed on the white card and again in the eyelet punch boarder and of course I made the ribbon a simple knot so that Melanie didn't have hours of frustrating ribbon tying.
I added a little dazzling diamonds glitter to the bunny tail and to the owl wings, which you can just about make out in the picture. What I loved about this card is that she could use one as the invitation and then keep the theme going by making coordinating Thank You cards with a different "Forest Friend". She stopped short of creating coordinating favors for the shower.
