One of my favorite things is that all the hard work of color coordination is already taken care of, because the colors in the paper are listed and so all you need to do is use any or all of those listed and you'll have a perfectly coordinating project to go with your fabulous Designer Series Paper and since the paper is double sided with different designs, the possibilities are amazing.

We made a box to go with these cards at stamp club last week and the ladies loved it. The part I liked best was the look of astonishment when they put the lids on in turn and I think each of them said "it fits" with a little grin and a look of surprise - it was a fabulous thing to see.

Thank you ladies for making me smile. I'll carry that memory in my heart for many years!

Thank You Friend

As you know I rarely post cards made with anything other than Stampin' Up! items, but when a dear friend takes the time to make a card as beautiful as this for me, I just have to share it. I could actually hear my daughter take in air when she saw this.

Dianne doesn't leave any detail out, even the inside is created with such care and thought.

Aren't I lucky to have someone who cares enough to do this for me?

Flower Pots

I started out making one very simple card to say Thank You to a friend, but I couldn't stop....


The picture isn't spectacular, but I think you can see that once you start making these cute cards, you just can't stop.

I made this collection as my swaps for stamp club last week and now they've asked to make them at our next meeting. I'm super excited, since the new catalog will be out by then and I'll be able to use some delicious new stuff too.

FYI - the new catalog begins July 1st.

Simple Thanks

When someone has done something nice for you, there's no nicer way to show your appreciate them, than sending a hand made note, or better still a set of hand made notes.

Not Just For Valentines

Remember to get out your Valentine sets year round, there's nothing nicer than sending a "love you much" card just because you can and not because a holiday reminded you to.

I always tell my husband I'd much rather he did something like that "just because" and not because it is a special event.

Ooops I Missed Posting

Hi there,

I have no real excuse, except that summer is coming at us fast around here - we were sorting out a huge garage sale, which may take place in the next century due to how much stuff we have still to sort through. My daughter went to her first Limo Dinner party, it was the weekend to sort out Tennis and Swim team for the coming summer months and we had a blast making home made rockets and blasting them off with the Boy Scout Troop - Oh yes and I did stamp club Friday and Saturday - do you forgive me yet for not posting?

I promise to try and make it up to you in the next few weeks.
