Too Many Photos

Is there such a thing as too many pictures?.......


I took so many pictures at field day and through the year at school that they wouldn't fit onto a CD - we had to use a DVD and that didn't include the last two days at school.......

The children gave a DVD to each of their teachers, our fabulous Principal and the our amazing Gym Teacher as a reminder of the fantastic field day we had last week......

...... Of course we couldn't just hand them a DVD and so we made little folders for them to go in.

A Little Thank You For Some Very Special People!

I started out just making little purses with a wrapped nugget in coordinating paper inside the purse........



.... Then I thought it would be nice to add a note of thanks.....

..... Then I realized that there are staff members who touch the life of our children that we don't know......

..... Yes, this is what we gave to the staff at school to show how much we appreciate them.

We snuck into the school office last night when most of the staff had left and placed these little tokens in their mail boxes.

Every day we are thankful that our children are surrounded by so many wonderful and caring people and although our token is small, we hope that they know our appreciation is huge!

Now I have just over an hour and it's my turn - I get to spend the whole summer with my little ones and I can't wait!!! I warned my husband last night not to expect a clean or tidy house - this is our time and I don't intend missing on second of it. Do I sound excited? That's because I am!!! I absolutely love, love, love having my children at home with me.

Today is the last day of school and it's time to celebrate! Wahooooo!!! I just love, love, love having my children at home with me - I really miss them all year at school. The hardest part about this is that I know summer will be over in a flash and they'll be off again.

Project Requests

I posted these two projects a while back, but I've recently had requests to see them again and so here they are.

Goodbye Heartfelt Thanks

Heartfelt Thanks has been in my collection for several years now and I'm really going to miss it when it retires on June 30th. It has been perfect for making note cards and so many other things.

When the retirement list comes out, I feel like I'm saying goodbye to some old friends. I know I'll make new ones when the new catalog comes out.
