Three Easy Payments Option for the Starter Kit:

During economically challenging times, most of us tighten our budgets. Some expenditures that were once comfortable might now stretch a budget thin. We don't want anyone's efforts to budget wisely to become a barrier to joining Stampin' Up, especially considering the wonderful benefits--personal and economical--being a demonstrator can bring. This is we've introduced a Three Easy Payments option for the Starter Kit. For a limited time, (March 13-April 30, 2009) with a partial initial payment, when you sign up to be a demonstrator, you can receive the Starter Kit right away and get your business running. Two subsequent monthly payments take care of the rest.If you're concerned about the up-front cost of the Starter Kit, now is the ideal time to sign up as a demonstrator. You can take advantage of both the discounted Starter Kit (15% off) as part of Sale-A-Bration and this great Three Easy Payments option! That's two great financial benefits--not to mention an additional stamp set free from the current catalog for signing up during Sale-A-Bration. (quick, this part of the offer ends on March 31st).

What Kind Of Card Do You Make For A Boy Turning Ten?

I'm going to post now for Friday
- there are only 33 minutes to go and it will be Friday anyway.
Time To Panic
I needed a card for a 10 year old boy

This was soooo much fun to make. At the London Regional Seminar, I saw someone create giant spirals with our fabulous new circle cutter. This card shrinks the idea down and the spirals go in the in a card.

I also spent the day working on progressive scrapbook pages and a coordinating card, but you’ll have to wait until next week to see those – ooooh I wish I could post them today, but my hostess should see the first shouldn’t she?

Featuring Bella Rose Designer Series Paper

My new niece was given her name yesterday and "Rose" is part of her name, so I thought I'd share some Bella Rose Designer Series Paper cards to celebrate.

There are so many beautiful images on this double sided designer series paper, the most difficult thing is to decide which side to use.
Have a wonderful day!

Stamp Club Projects From Last Weekend

Images © 1990-2009 Stampin' Up!
We made projects like these at stamp club last weekend. Something Old, Something Borrowed and Something Blue.
Old - Tart and Tangy - I just love it
New - Forest Friends and Happy Birthday from the Occasions Mini that will start next week
Borrowed - The folds were from cards I'd received - thank you
Blue - This beautiful Blue designer series paper will be gone forever after March 31st - it is still available FREE with your Sale-A-Bration order of $50 net or more until Tuesday.

Big Shot In Color Sampler - Now Available

Images © 1990-2009 Stampin' Up!

A few weeks ago I created these samplers. When I created them, I had in my mind that not everyone has had the opportunity to see the current and fabulous "in colors" and I also had in my mind that not everyone owns a Big Shot machine to create wonderful textured backgrounds and so I combined both in one sampler.
It makes it so easy for me to show folks and is very portable because of the size.
Each sampler is approximately 3 1/2" x 2 3/4".
There are six in colors, but I wanted to show how our Whisper White comes out and so I used just five, but included the sixth color as a little background for the brad that holds the sampler together. My personal sampler is held together by a brad I wanted to showcase, however my standard samplers are held together just a simple gold or silver brad.
Texturz plates come in sets of 3, with an image on each side and so there are a total of 6 different patterns. My samplers are Texturz Plates - # 114512 Stampin' Up! Backgrounds 1 - featured on page 203 of the current idea book.
Dry embossing is one of my all time favorite techniques, but it has always been too time consuming for me to do very often and so I am just tickled pink that these fabulous texturz plates came along.
Once again, I was surprised when someone asked where they could purchase one of my little creations to showcase in colors and Backgrounds 1 and so.........
If you would like to purchase a sampler, please feel free to email me - reeveelizabeth@hotmail.com $5.00 including shipping and handling - samplers will be mailed in a regular envelope to keep shipping costs to a minimum.

Tart and Tangy - One Of My Favorite Sets

Images © 1990-2009 Stampin' Up!

Once in a while a stamp set comes along and you find that you never get bored with using it. Tart and Tangy is like this. There are only four images in the set - an apple, a strawberry, cherries and citrus - Why did I call the last one "citrus" ??????
When I first started using this set my daughter was watching me stamp - I'd stamped a few oranges and limes and I was working on lemons, when she said "Mom, where's the lime stamp" - you should have seen the light bulb go on when she realized what she'd said - heeee heee, it's the same stamp, you just use different colors to create different fruits.
Wouldn't it be nice to give this card to someone on a hot summer day, with s packet of coordinating drink powder inside?
I love how the glitter around the top of the glass adds extra sparkle. It really makes you think lemonade and by the way, my son wants to know why orange juice is called "juice", but lemonade is called "ade" - I guess I'll have to do some research!

Happy Mother's Day!

No, I haven't lost the plot. Today is Mothering Sunday in England and so I wanted to wish everyone there a Happy Mother's Day - especially my Sister In Law, who became a Mom for the second time on Friday/Saturday and to my Mom, who is 3,000 miles away.
