New Colors, Retiring Colors and Returning Colors
Yes it's true there are some amazing color changes coming.
Of course it's going to take us all a while to get our heads around such a significant change, but I just know you are going to love them.
Will there be colors that are retiring that you wish were staying? Of course there will be, which is why it's so fabulous that we have this news way ahead of the actual change.
Will there be in colors returning that we loved and miss? Absolutely and I'm sooo excited because I've missed them and can't wait to welcome them back.
Will there be fresh new colors in our core color line? Yes, yes, yes and I can't wait for my samples to arrive.
Will there still be in colors? Oh yes and this is the strangest coincidence of all. Just last week my ladies were saying how they wished our In Colors didn't retire so quickly -well your wish is our command. From now on......
Five new in colors will be introduced each year - Starting in July 2010 (these will stay current for two years)
Five additional in colors will be introduced - July 2011
In July 2012 the original five 2010 in colors will retire and Five new colors will be added to the July 2011 collection and so the rotation will continue with five brand new colors every year and the five current in colors lasting two full years.
Isn't it wonderful that we'll get some fresh core colors and we'll also have a regular supply of trendy updated colors during the in color rotations?
My goodness Stampin' Up! have worked so hard to keep our crafting current and vibrant!

Before I go, I want to let you into a little secret..... Just after I became a demonstrator six years ago, Stampin' Up! retired some of my favorite colors - I still have a secret stash that I use from time to time, so please know that just because some colors will no longer be available, you'll still enjoy using them. Just remember to order any of your favorite color card stock and make sure you have a couple of reinkers for your favorite retiring ink pads and you'll be all set for years to come. I have a feeling that there will be an announcement very soon that some colors will only be available "while supplies last" - I don't know this for sure, it's just how things have gone in the past, so check your supplies and pop on over to www.elizabethreeve.stampinup.net and SHOP NOW.

Things I Love FREE when you spend $50 on Stampin' Up! Merchandise LAST CHANCE TODAY!!!
As soon as I saw Circle Circus and Things I Love stamp sets I knew I had to have them. What I didn't know was that I would end up using them both on the same card and it's probably my favorite card of the year.
I love that when you see the card closed it says "I Love ..... Chocolate" and when you open it up it has a completely different message.
This is the card we made for stamp club last Saturday - I'm so glad to have my ladies to inspire me to go beyond my comfort zone and try new things.

Color Me Cards For The Troops
A while back our Scout leader asked me to come up with cards the boys could make and send to the troops.
Knowing how little boys aren't generally so much into crafts I came up with a color me card for them to create. Unfortunately I couldn't attend the event because my daughter had pneumonia, but my husband took over and the boys had a fun evening making cards and sending sentiments to their heroes.

Let's Get Organized
Hi there,
If you currently belong to my "customer" online extras group, you will already have received all the "Let's Get Organized" files by email - If you would like to join my "customer" online extras group, please email me and I'll add you to the group..........
With Sale-A-Bration almost at an end, I wanted to check my supplies and make sure that I'd ordered all the basics that I need for the coming months, so that I could take full advantage of earning some of the fabulous FREE offerings during Sale-A-Bration........
I discovered I was low on envelopes white and clear, adhesive, including sticky strip, dimensionals and glue dots. I also found that I was low on some of my favorite color card stock. I'll need all of these things in the coming months, so why not order them now and earn FREE Sale-A-Bration goodies too. Have you checked your basics?
One of the things that I hear most often at my events is that folks can't remember which colors they have and if they already have the marker or the ink and so I've created some "get organized" documents to share with you and they are attached. Take a few moments to take stock of what you have and then make sure you tuck your charts in your Stampin' Up! idea book for reference, updating it as you order new items.
I've often thought that our standard wish lists are too narrow and so I've created a new wider version for you which you can personalize and stamp on too.
Don't you love this year's in colors? I've attached a few things to help you keep track and enjoy these too. I hear we may be seeing some past in colors in the future - hmmmmm, I'm curious aren't you?
One of the Stampin' Up! offerings that I've used for years and absolutely love is the Forget-Me-Not-Keeper (105525). I have all my cards organized by theme and when I need a card and don't have time to stop and make one, I know exactly where to find one.
Finally I want to share with you my absolute favorite new Stampin' Up! posession - Scissors. I know they are nothing to do with organization, but they are just too fabulous not to share.....
You've all heard me rave about my Paper Snips (103579) and they are still perfect for soooo many jobs and I wouldn't trade them ever! My new best friends however, are called Craft & Paper Scissors, but if I see anyone cutting paper with mine, they are in big trouble - Why? Because they are the most amazing scissors for cutting ribbon - I'm not kidding. You know how you tie ribbon on a card and when you cut it, it just comes out wrong and you wish you could trim just a teeeeeeny little bit off? Well these scissors will do just that. The Craft and Paper Scissors cut through ribbon like a hot knife through butter - Oh what a delicious treat they are and it's an even sweeter treat because I saved for so long to add them to my collection.
