Rockin' And Rollin'.....

This card reminds me of a fun technique called rockin' and rollin' - you ink up your stamp with a lighter colored ink, then roll part of the stamp in a darker ink, so that you get a dual colored image - just remember to ink up in the lighter color first and use a much darker color as the second color.....

Summer Mini 2010 Spotlight

When I ordered this stamp set I was a little worried because it was all butterflies, but wow, have I used it and used it and used it and I love that we have a coordinating butterfly punch that works fabulously with the larger butterflies.

May Flowers....

I can't wait for the last frost warning to vanish so that I can plant our new flower boxes ready for the deer to eat, followed by the rabbits and finished off by the Japanese Beatles - yep, I just love flowers, especially these ones because unless my husband gets very hungry, nobody will eat these ones - LOL!

Have you ever noticed how cards often say "It's" a girl or boy? I don't know about you, but I don't like the idea of referring to a sweet bundle of joy as "It's". Both my babies had names while I was pregnant, even though I didn't know what they'd be, it was much nicer having a bump named "Charlie" rather than "It".

I know, I'm rambling today, so I'll stop now and just let you enjoy the card.....

Note Card Set

If you're going to say Thank You, there's no nicer and more special way to say it than with a hand made note card right from the heart. It shows that you went the extra mile to show your appreciation and nobody needs to know that you made a collection of them to keep on hand for when you're to busy to stop and make a card, but not too busy to show your appreciation.
