Boy Style
It's funny when I went to title this post I was thinking it was a "boy" style card, but looking at it again I think a girl would enjoy it too.

Tart and Tangy Is Staying
This is a perfect example of how three colors really do work in harmony and I'm thrilled that Tart and Tangy is not going into retirement - doesn't it look great when it's embossed?

Raspberry Lemonade
Of all the retiring items this designer series paper is the thing that my ladies have ordered the most. I'm sure going to miss it aren't you?
When I saw Dawn create this card I knew I just had to make it - I received a card as a swap last year with a similar theme, but it was mailable because the cup was flat - Bending the velum card so that the glass becomes 3d just makes this card pop - you'll have to hand deliver it, but then you'll have the pleasure of seeing the look on the face of the recipient.
I can't wait to make this card again with our brand new designer series paper - July 1st is just around the corner.

Tulip Die - Big Shot - Sooooo Simple and it's retiring
I'm soooo sad that this Tulip Die for my Big Shot is retiring. You would not believe how easy it is to make these cute votive covers.
Cut four pieces of card stock just slightly bigger than the die image. Score about 1/4" on the side of each one - add sticky strip. Cut four pieces of velum card stock just slightly larger than the tulip image and attach behind the tulip image. Wheel or stamp any design on card. Assemble. Add a candle to a small glass and you have awesome decorations for any event.
This ensemble was my parting gift for Terri - she's been a member of our stamp club for six years and is now moving to California. I saw Terri's new stamp room this winter and I was touched to see that all around the room on a shelf were many of the creations we'd made together at stamp club - Boy I'm going to miss Terri - thank goodness for skype, email and all the other wonderful modern technology that will help melt the miles away.

My None Camera Shy Stamp Club Members
I always mean to take pictures when we get together to stamp, but shomehow time just gets away from me. Some of my ladies are camera shy and so they are not in the pictures - They are all just the best and as you can see from Melanie's face, they're always proud of their creations.

Oh "crumbs" what are we going to do without Itty Bitty Backgrounds
I can't believe it!!!!! Itty Bitty Backgrounds is retiring. It's been in my collection since the first order I placed with Stampin' Up! and still I find new and fun ways to use it, snow, rain, filler and recently "cookie crumbs".......
This is the card we recently made at stamp club (inspired by a card I saw Dawn make) - such huge fun - I wish you could see it in person.

Today My Baby Girl Graduates From Elementary School

I used our school colors blue, red and gold and I used red and white at the top because they will be our new school colors. I didn't have a fancy tastle, so I made one from ribbon.

I can't believe it is time to say goodbye to Elementary School and hello to Middle School.
Happy Graduation to all the fabulous children in the class of 2017.
Thank you to all the amazing staff at our school for traveling with them on their journey over the past six years!
I found the technique for this card online and knew it was the perfect template. I'm not sure who posted, but thank you for sharing!

Wadazoo Swap
I recently joined a swap group and I really enjoyed making this 3d challenge for the ladies. It's so effective and yet simple.
Just a piece of card stock 2" x 8" scored at 2" & 4" and some designer series paper. Circle Punch, Scallop Circle and Word Window Punch. Brads, Adhesive and a stamped message.
I also included a belly band to decorate the bottle over the water label.
