Stamp Club December 2010

Normally I like to wait and share our stamp club project, but since our next meeting falls so close to Christmas I wanted to share this fun idea with you now.

You know those little school photos that you send out, wouldn't it be cute to tuck them inside this cute card?

Candy Cane Christmas - Designer Series Paper

Don't you love the simplicity of these projects? All you need is the Candy Cane Christmas Designer Series Paper #120809 Page 33 Holiday Mini and some coordinating cardstock and a few other bits and you're all set to make some very special creations.

I really enjoyed making these projects with my ladies stamp club recently.

Place Cards or Treat Boxes

There are so many different things you can do with these cute boxes and you won't believe how easy they are to make using your Big Shot and the new Candy Wrapper Die 120890 - it's in the Holiday Mini page 10.

Imagine putting a little message of thanks in them and using them as place cards for Thanksgiving, or adding numbers to the front and using them as a countdown for a special event, perhaps even as an Advent idea - Oh the possibilities!

New Product Parade Continues

Is summer really at an end? Is it truly back to school today?

Look closely at the top and bottom of the strip of Designer Series Paper..... The design has been cut/punched out to add a fun detail - Love it!

Pocket Treats

I couldn't believe how simple these treat pockets were to make as teacher gifts. I just had to show my ladies how to make them.

Using a 6 x 6" pieces of our new Greenhouse Gala designer series paper for the pockets and 3 1/2 x 3" pieces to wrap our mini treats shows a great way to show off any designer series paper. We have some fabulous Halloween paper coming in our Holiday Mini (Sept 1st), just imagine giving them out to your favorite trick or treaters this year..... Don't forget to add a Bitty Bat to the treat using our fun new punch.

Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set has a wish for every event, including Halloween and Christmas, what I love best is that you can punch them out with our word window punch and layer them with our modern label punch.

Ooooh, I forgot to mention that there is delicious Christmas paper coming up in the Holiday Mini too, so Holiday gifts will be a breeze.

Personally I'm looking forward to making these to put on my Mom's pillow each night when she comes to stay, I may even find some chamomile tea to put in one :-)

This Years Teacher Gifts

I can't think of a nicer way to thank the wonderful staff at school for their time and dedication...

Images © 1990-2011 Stampin' Up!

This year was such fun making gifts because the children did a lot of the work with me, so it was truly a gift from our entire family.

Raspberry Lemonade

Of all the retiring items this designer series paper is the thing that my ladies have ordered the most. I'm sure going to miss it aren't you?

When I saw Dawn create this card I knew I just had to make it - I received a card as a swap last year with a similar theme, but it was mailable because the cup was flat - Bending the velum card so that the glass becomes 3d just makes this card pop - you'll have to hand deliver it, but then you'll have the pleasure of seeing the look on the face of the recipient.

I can't wait to make this card again with our brand new designer series paper - July 1st is just around the corner.
