Valentine Treat Boxes

Have you looked at page 16 & 17 of the Occasions Mini? You'll find adorable treat boxes for Valentines. I'll be making them with my children this weekend, so stop by next week and I'll post some pictures here for you to see.

My Digital Studio To The Rescue

It's 10:00 PM and your son is due at a Birthday party in the morning and you don't have a card, or a stamp that is suitable for a seven year old to create one. What do you do? Turn on your computer and use My Digital Studio to create something that's just perfect.......

Robby has a huge dog and my son is allergic to dogs, so we have a cat and yes the boys are great friends anyway. I loved making this card because it captured so perfectly the boys and their life and it's personalized for Robby too (I had to change the spelling at the last minute).

OK, I admit it, I didn't cut out a single one of these beautifully embossed butterflies and I didn't dry emboss them either - Ahhhh, you think they are some kind of kit don't you?........

Nope, they are fabulously easy to create with a beautiful new die for my Big Shot. I'm soooo excited, I love butterflies, I've just never had the time to sit and cut them out and now I have the best of both worlds thanks to our fabulous new Occasions Mini..... Have you taken a look at it yet?

Punch scallop strip from Old Olive textured card stock with Scallop Edge punch. Adhere to card.

Instructions:

1. Print "You're invited" on Very Vanilla card stock and adhere to strip of Very Vanilla card stock. Wrap strip around So Saffron printed card from Country Living Cards à la Carte.

2. Stamp silverware image in Ballet Blue ink on Very Vanilla card stock. Cut out, distress one edge, then adhere to card stock strip using Stampin' Dimensionals.

3. Stamp silverware image in Ballet Blue ink on envelope flap.

5. Stamp pitcher image in Ballet Blue ink on front of Very Vanilla envelope. Stamp flourish image in Ballet Blue ink on front of pitcher.

Starting with the new 2010 Occasions Mini Catalog and continuing with all new punch designs going forward, Stampin' Up! has adopted a new body style for our punches!

A few features of the new punch style:
• Low-profile, rectangular punch body allows for easier stacking and storing
• Punches lock shut for easier storage and transport
• Dual labels on top and end allow for easy identification and selection when stored
• Available in three sizes: small, medium, and extra-large
• New punches allow for larger punched images and more intricate designs while providing greater ease of use.
o Extra -large punch images also allow for two-step designs like the Two-Step Bird punch in the Occasions Mini Catalog
• Corner punches allow you to punch a corner design along the inside edges of a page, not just corners
• larger, whole-hand handle design provides better leverage for easier use
